Nate leaving for presbytery equals the wife painting something.  Last time he went I pained a wall in our living room green and Will's room orange.

Side note:  Can't figure out what to put on that big ol' wall next to Will's bed, suggestions welcome.  Also, looking for a new rug.  You know, looking in the way that's like "if I find one for 30 dollars or less, I'll buy it".  In other words, dreaming.  That was Lucy's baby rug and I think Will's ready to move on to a new rug.

And Nate just went to Presbytery again for the last two days and I decided, "I really need to change that spice cupboard, like right now".

Above is a before picture I found.
And here is the after!  It makes me so happy to look at it. I was also very pleased when I found that green paper downstairs that I could use as a backing (with my homemade mod podge which worked great!)
So, next time Nate's gone for Presbytery you can go on a search for the latest change in our home.  Nate might start getting nervous to leave.

Super cute! In Will's room you could do a fabric name banner. It would add some color and fill up that space...just an idea :)

Hooray! I love home updates! We, too, are making a few changes!!!
I love the color you chose for that spice rack

For Will's wall you could do magnet boards, dry erase boards, a painted city-scape that he could move cars and planes around on, coloring book wall paper... hmmm... i'll keep an eye out for pictures...
