Growing up I LOVED decorating for Christmas. There is something so special about seeing those things you only see once a year come out of their boxes. And now, here I am, with my own family, starting our own traditions and cherishing them just as much. I try to look at it through their eyes and realize that the very emotions and excitement that I had from my childhood are being formed in them now. That said, I am thrilled that my dear, dear friend Heather came and captured our day of choppin and decorating. Not only is she a rock star of a photographer, but a loving mom, and loyal (and crazy fun) friend... I will cherish these pictures in the years to come! And now, I'll let the pictures tell the rest of the story...

3 little Indians
Totally threw these together last minute, but it all just worked out and I thought they were pretty cute little Indians. Lucy was a Greek Goddess and Will a football player, they just were out with friends when I was snapping pictures.

Taking a breather
Outside is a much needed outlet for me and the kiddos, I'm girding myself up for more time spent inside and taking advantage of everyday that we can venture out.

Autumn
We went on a nice autumn walk through sculpture park. Little miss Ada brought her sketch pad along and drew the sculptures. If I were to guess, I would say she has a future with art in it.
