Brother and Sister

Matching Dresses

Here's Lucy and Huntleigh in matching dressing and riding matching cars. Huntleigh is our good friend and we spend many mornings and afternoons together. The picture above is from Margarita Monday- an especially fun play date. Don't forget to say "hi" to little Annabelle in the background observing the big girls-

Goin' a Pickin

Yesterday we took a little day trip to a strawberry field with some of our friends. I think Eckert's Farm lost money on us. I kept filling up our box and the kids successfully kept eating them. We did, however, make it home with two pounds of yummy strawberries.

As not seen by the photo, Will is gesturing toward the box of strawberries and implying that he would like, yet, another one. I would guess that he ate a pound of strawberries. As long as he had his strawberries he was pretty happy in that stroller.

I definitely won the picking contest. Lucy mainly ran up and down the strawberry fields (as picking strawberries requires sitting still) and like I said, Will won the eating contest.

Mother's Day

What a wonderful day. We went to church and then went to Forest Park for a relaxing picnic. Will even put on his tie for the occasion. After the kids went down for a nap Nate and I went out and laid out on a blanket and rested. What a family I have!

Today we got to go to a beautiful pool with our friend Sarah. Sarah, Kristen and I relaxed in a salt water pool while the kids floated and splashed around. Ok, so it might sound a little more romantic than it was, because of course, "relaxing" has taken on a whole new meaning since kids, but by my new definition it was a"relaxing" day. In the beginning Lucy preferred to sit by the edge with her feet dangling in the pool, but once Huntleigh offered up her "boat" as Lucy called it, she was flying high (or floating high, I suppose). She's still a bit skeptical of water, but she's warming up to it more and more each time. It's such a blessing to have such great friends (and kids) to spend the days with.

Smile for the Camera- yeah right

Here's the winner!

A simple task, take a cute picture of the kids together. This task was humorous and exhausting. My standards by the end were just that the kids didn't look too ridiculous. So, below I posted some of the outcasts, let me emphasize, only some, probably took close to 80 pictures to get one acceptable one.

My little big man

Will is now 15 months, I just can't believe it. The doctors say he officially is a toddler, and I ask, where is my little baby boy (ok, well he never was that little)? We bought him this tie at a garage sale for $.50, it's his first tie and I can't wait for him to wear it to church, he'll look so handsome!

She love me, she love me not....

Just had to post this picture so that if AB and son William get married, we can have a picture of Will gazing affectionately at his darling when they were only babies. They would be a cute couple, wouldn't they?
