4th of July

We had a great 4th. We went to a new parade, the kids jumped on jumpy things, got their face painted and had some friends and family over to end the evening. All in all a wonderful day!

Grandma came to the parade and festivities with us.

Little did we know that on the lake we're staying at right now there is a huge firework competition. We felt like we had a personal show- the kids loved it!

My sister Jodi makes amazing cakes- because they call Abby "shrimp", they did a shrimp themed party, and yes Jodi handmade everything on that cake.

We are very spoiled with this place. The lake is perfect temp for a swim, we go for boat rides, and the house is beautiful- God really hooked us up with this one!

Sorry about the lack of posts this summer folks! I must say it has been a fickle blog summer- and fickle summer in general really. Currently we are house sitting at a beautiful house on the lake and having a ton of fun. I've been snapping away, and when I am around a computer that I can download my pictures onto there will be an influx of pics. Things are going really well though- we're over pink eye, we're actually feeling kind of settled, we had a great trip to Bellingham, and when Lucy licked the hairdryer (yes, can you believe she did that!), she only got a slight cut on her lip. Anyway, hopefully pics and more to come soon! Hope you're all well!
