Women's Retreat

Women's Retreat!  I'm gonna try to be better about the blog world, I hate saying that because I have seen it said many times before and, well, nothing changes.  One can still dream though.  I might just cut back on words if I must.  Little is better than nothing.  So, here it is, our first annual women's retreat at Christ Church.  It was a wonderful time with wonderful ladies.

Lucy is 8!

I can't believe my little Lucy is 8!  She is an amazing 8 year old who loves life, loves her friends, loves her family and loves Jesus.  She is a glowing girl who hasn't lived down the meaning of her name "one who brings light".  I love you Lucy, what an amazing girl who have become and are becoming!

Bright White Kitchen!

Our landlords (Nate's folks) decided it was time to update the kitchen- wahooo! I didn't think we would get to update the kitchen for at least 5 years, nor did I think I was strong enough to do it with little ones running around, but lo and behold, here it is!  We survived.  A friend came over and called it "cottage chic"... I'll go with that.  So, here is the before (I love before and afters!)
