It's time to say goodbye

This beloved bike is officially going to the dumpster- a sad day, I love this bike. The kids had many good times on this bike before that tragic day when it was left behind the car.  It was temporarily fixed by our neighbor, but it was kind of like putting a band aid on a broken bone and hoping it would be fixed.  We've had many adventures on this 4 buck bike and it will be hard to say goodbye- how can it be replaced?  We'll be on the lookout for a (cheap) bike for Lucy. The trick is finding a great classic bike rather than a princess, Dora or Tinker Bell bike (which are quite easy to come by).  So the search starts in hope of a spring filled with many o' bike rides and new bike memories.

" I want to wear my hair like this everyday because it's little and it doesn't take so long." (what lucy is saying while I take the picture). I was about 2 seconds from chopping her hair to a bob, but had second thoughts and decided to grow it long, long first. I love the bob and will do it eventually, but I know I will miss the pig tails and fun dos that you can do with long hair.

We really don't have many family pics. I love to take pictures, but to take one of the whole family just takes more work and coordination. I'm happy with this one and it's nice to see us all together. One thing I discovered is that it would be a worthy investment to buy a remote for my camera(and it's also wise to avoid tackling such a venture when the ground has a solid layer of ice on it).
