lil' celebration
So glad we weren't in the hospital on Ada's birthday. We had a little celebration for a girl who is worth a giant celebration. We sang happy birthday to her 3 times because she liked it so much. We love you Ada!
Miss and Mr.
Things are going really well here at the hospital. We will be going home tomorrow. I am really excited to see the kiddos, Nate has been able to see them a bit here and there, but I haven't seen them for four days now. I just breastfed the twins at the same time for the first time and it went really well (Nate took a picture, but I'll spare you and not post it). We actually have been getting a decent amount of sleep- surprised us! These two are utterly spectacular.
Excessive?

This might be getting a bit much, but I feel almost guilty enjoying such sweetness without sharing some.

M & H

These two are just wonderful, real gifts and doing so well. People are shocked at their sizes. I talked to a pediatrician yesterday, who has been a pediatrician for 20 years, and she said she can count on one hand the amount of twins she has seen this big. Mr. Henry is quite the eater and really looks like a boy (he has a thick neck, looks a football player Nate says). He is quite laid back and has been very easy. And Miss Molly, well she is dainty and girly. A true beauty, and has been a little higher maintenance (is this a look into the future?). They are quite the duo.

Me and my mom and the babes

Here are Edie, Tony and Ada meeting the twins. With the hospital policy, this has been the way visitors can meet the wee ones, a drive thru baby viewing. It's for sure not ideal, but at least it's something. Thank you for all your prayers, the Lord has heard them. We are overflowing with gratitude and amazed at His goodness to us.

So happy to introduce...
Molly Alice and Henry Anthony.
Molly was 6 lbs. 8 oz and Henry was a healthy 7 lbs. 9 oz. Molly is 1 minute older. They are both absolutely beautiful and doing well.

Thankful (and uncomfortable) on Thanksgiving

I didn't take very many pics on Thanksgiving, because, well, I was really pregnant. However, my brother-in-law Scott made sure that my so-very- giant belly was well documented (I'll put those up when I get them). We did have a great, scrumptious feast. John is a ridiculous chef and pretty much did the whole thing. My folks were able to make it up and spend it with us as well- we also managed to do a little family Ada celebration, squeezing it all in...

One. Uno. Un. Ichi.
Happy birthday my little one. As I type, I'm watching you put your boot on your hand- you don't quite get it, but you're trying. There are many things you're working through right now, you are in discovery mode and it is an intriguing process to watch. One thing I hope you already know, and don't have to discover, is how much you are loved by your mom and your dad. We are in ah over you and who you have been made to be. You bring so much joy, laughter, and freshness to our family, what would we do without you my dear? Happy 1st little one- we adore you.
