visitors

We had a couple visitors today and as you can tell in the pic, we were all pregnant.  Amazing Leslie was a week from her due date- crazy girl making a road trip (I probably would do the same thing), Kristen is about a month out and Kathy has a couple months to go.  We had such a relaxing day at the park and then at our friend Megan's house.  Thanks for making the trip up- it was great to see you.
( i missed the hands under the belly memo while I was setting up the camera- oh well. i also think it's time to invest in a remote for the camera, i could hardly make it in the picture in time, give me a couple months and it will be impossible.)

Thanks so much for letting us live a fun day in your new life up in Bham....your kids are amazing - so grown up and so full of personality and joy. :) Hope to see you again soon!

Wow! That sounds so awesome! How did it go this morning?! We have loved loved loved our church... tonight is actually going to be our last night there and I assure you some tears will be shed. Our church does an amazing job at 'community.' The Journey is not affiliated with any other assoiation like PCA, but it is a part of the Acts 29 network which you may know about. Mars Hill in Seattle is another member of Acts 29 if you know anything about that church. It's really just people loving Jesus & each other and all the teaching comes straight from the Word. It has been, in our minds, hugely successful at ministering to the surrounding neighborhoods and to it's body. It sounds a lot like your goals in that respect. They don't strive to pull people from their churches but really work at reaching people who may otherwise never step foot in a church. We actually meet in a bar right now because of it.
I'm so excited for the beginning of your church and hope to hear more about it along the way!
